One of the newest changes to the Bylaws of
the Clan MacKenzie Society (as a result of the recent vote by the Officers of the Society) was the decision to begin to rotate
the Annual General Meeting (AGM) throughout the country. Beginning in the Northeast, the AGM will move from region to region
each year, thus allowing our members who are unable to travel, the opportunity to attend.
The AGM is an important event that all members
should try to attend. Important discussions are held and decisions are made during these meetings. This is a great opportunity
to travel and to meet other CMS members from throughout the United States and Canada—It’s so wonderful to ‘put
a face with a name’ and I, personally, have met many great and dedicated people that I would consider lifetime friends.
